Angkot, locally known as Carry, is a budget-friendly transportation option in Batam. These shared minibuses, with a capacity of 8-10 passengers, offer flexibility with no fixed stops. Two routes operate: Muka Kuning to Bekong (via Batam Center) and Muka Kuning to Batu Aji. Fares are approximately IDR 2,000 per person, payable in cash.

Bimbar, a larger version of Angkot, can carry up to 16 passengers. With three routes available, fares range from IDR 5,000 to IDR 15,000 depending on your destination. Be sure to board the correct Bimbar to avoid getting lost!
